Exposing Government Myths: Most Americans are exempt from paying income tax
Escaping the Matrix

The 16th amendment to the United States Constitution allows the federal government to levy taxes from the states and its citizens. Bill Benson’s,  ”The Law That Never Was,” makes a credible case that the 16th amendment was never legally ratified and that Secretary of State Philander Knox not only committed a mistake, but committed fraud when he declared its ratification in February 1913. The 16th amendment was sent out to all 48 states in 1909 needing ¾ of the states approval in order for it to be passed. Since there were only 48 states at the time, then 36 had to approve this in order for it to be ratified.

The government had received 38 responses to this when the government declared it ratified in February of 1913. When Kentucky was reviewing this, the word “income” was omitted from the amendment, and when this was corrected, the Kentucky Senate rejected the amendment. However, in a highly unethical choice, Philander Knox counted Kentucky as approving it. In Okhlahoma, they changed the wording of the amendment, in turn changing the meaning to the exact opposite of what the amendment was intended for. Attorneys who have studied this matter deeply agree that Kentucky and Oklahoma should never have been counted as approved by Philander Knox.

If we subtract Oklahoma and Kentucky, we are left with 36 states. If any more states can be shown to be invalid, then the 16th amendment would actually be null and void.
The constitution of the state of Tennessee prohibited the legislature from voting on any amendment to the U.S. Constitution until after the following election of state legislators. As you can imagine, the state did not wait for the next election and voted on it, and in doing so  violated their own state constitution rendering the vote illegal. This nullifies Tennessee’s ratification therefore leaving 35 states who correctly ratified it, one short of the 36 states required for ratification.

Texas and Louisiana violated their state constitutions provisions prohibiting the legislatures from entrusting the federal government with any supplemental taxing authority. Now the number of states  is down to 33, which is three less than required for ratification.

Twelve other states had provisions in their states’ constitution which called for a bill to be read on three different days before voting on it.  States violating this procedure were: Mississippi, Ohio, Arkansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, West Virginia, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Colorado, and Illinois. Now the number is reduced to 21 states legally ratifying the amendment.

When Philander Knox originally sent the amendment to all of the states, he sent official certified and sealed copies to each state. When each state voted on the provision, they were to be signed, certified, and sealed and sent back to Knox. A number of states did not do this, in fact, a number of states did not even send a response at all.  Ohio, California, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Minnesota were the states who did not send any response at all. Since four of these states were already disqualified above, California is now subtracted from the list of valid approvals, reducing it to 20.

Further review of the other states concluded that there were more states that did not comply, which would nullify the amendment. But, without researching any further, we now only have 20 states out of the original 36 states required to give the federal government authority to levy taxes from the nations income. This information has been withheld from the mainstream media, so please share this information with other people to educate the public on why taxation was never legitimately passed.

Below I have included a speech by a former IRS special agent who compiled evidence for ten years on the subject. After presenting his findings to his superiors he was indicted on false charges that were later dropped.
